One on One Spa Experience
We are a one on one salon. This means we take dogs one appointment at a time and groom straight through just like your hairstylist would. Each stylist has their own private grooming suite, so no dogs will have to wait in a kennel or be distracted by other dogs. We have found this grooming experience is a lot more comfortable and less stimulating for dogs than a traditional grooming setting.
Fear Free Grooming
We practice and are certified in Fear Free Grooming. Grooming is a big part of a dogs life so we want your dog to be safe, comfortable, and willing to participate in the process. We use training techniques like positive reinforcement and Cesar’s method. Our one on one concept and private rooms allow us to personalize every dog’s experience. Due to our space and techniques, we have had success with dogs who may have struggled in traditional grooming settings.
We can handle all breeds and all sizes
Whether your dog is 100 pounds or 5 pounds, is a senior or a puppy, has short fine fur or thick coarse hair, we guarantee your dog will get a personalized breed specific groom. Every service includes nail trim and file, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, bubble bath with shampoo and conditioner specific to your dogs skin and coat needs, blow dry using the high velocity and fluff dryers, thorough brush out, and soothing paw pad and nose balm. No cut corners. No wait times.
Licensed, Insured, and Certified
Rest assured your dogs are in experienced, capable, and safe hands. Hawkeye’s Dog Spa is licensed through PACFA. We are insured and all our groomers are Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. Our groomers are passionate about continuing their education. We can provide anything from breed standard trims, to fully handscissored trims, to deshedding treatments, to handstripping, to creative grooming and more!
